July 29, 2014, San Anselmo, CA – Big Bang Wine, one of the wine industry’s top sales and marketing agencies, has announced it will manage national sales and distribution for some of California’s most important producers including: Longoria (Sta. Rita Hills), Clos de la Tech (Santa Cruz Mountains), McIntyre (Santa Lucia Highlands), Cambiata (Monterey) and Rail 2 Rail (Lodi). The company had already been representing Coquerel (Napa).
According to Ted Reimer, president of Big Bang Wine’s sales division, “We are thrilled to have these prestigious producers join our portfolio of fine wine. Each of these wineries has been praised by the national media, trade and consumers for their high-quality, terroir-driven wines from some of California’s greatest AVAs Napa, Sta. Rita Hills, Santa Barbara, Santa Lucia Highlands, Monterey, Lodi and Santa Cruz Mountains. To date, all of these producers have had limited distribution outside of California. The only way to get most of these wines was through the clubs and mailing lists. Our goal is to place them with luxury-class, high-quality wine distributors in key markets around the country.”
Mike Lynch, a partner at Big Bang Wine, adds, “These wineries rank among the state’s most celebrated producers of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel. And for the more adventurous wine enthusiast they also produce small quantities from exotic grapes like Tempranillo, Tannat, Dornfelder, Albariño and Verdelho. We believe these brands will be quickly embraced across the country by distributors, retailers, restaurants and consumers.”
In addition to its sales and distribution division, Big Bang Wine also manages PR and communications for Force Majeure (Red Mountain, Washington), Chalone (Monterey), Wrath (Monterey), Coquerel (Napa), McIntyre (Santa Lucia Highlands), Clos de la Tech (Santa Cruz Mountains) and Groove (International Digital Marketing).
